Frequently Asked Dental Questions – Warsaw, IN
Teaching Our Patients to Protect Their Smiles
Every day we get questions from our patients about how they can take better care of their teeth at home and what kind of procedures we currently offer. Below are some helpful answers to some of the most commonly asked questions; call if there’s anything else you’d like to know or if you want to set up a consultation to speak to Dr. Rudolph in person.
How Often Do I Need to See the Dentist?
Most of our patients should visit the dentist once every six months to have their teeth and gums examined for decay and infection. Catching these problems early makes them easier to treat. We’ll let you know if you need frequent appointments to manage an ongoing issue like gum disease.
What Kind of Cosmetic Dental Procedures Do You Offer?
We can use veneers, crowns, bridges, and cosmetic bonding to hide chips, stains, and various other dental imperfections. We also have tooth whitening for brightening your smile and gum recontouring for creating a balanced, attractive gum line. Call us today to start planning the steps for your smile makeover.
What Can I Do About Crooked Teeth?
You might think braces are the only solution for crooked teeth, but depending on the situation, there may be other solutions available. With Invisalign®, we can straighten your teeth with aligners made out of a clear see-through plastic.
Can You Replace Missing Teeth?
Yes! We can replace missing teeth with traditional bridges as well as dentures, and we can place dental implants in-house without needing to refer you to a specialist. Our recommendation for filling the gap in your smile will be based on your needs and preferences.
Should I Be Concerned About Bleeding Gums?
Even if you don’t notice any pain, bleeding gums should be treated as quickly as possible, as they are likely affected by some form of gum disease. We need to intervene quickly in order to protect your smile from tooth loss.
Do You See Kids?
Yes, we offer checkups and cleanings for younger patients, seeing little ones as early as 18 months old. We also have a number of services that are especially beneficial for still-growing smiles, like dental sealants that protect the molars and premolars while your child is still learning to brush and floss. Call us to schedule an appointment today.
Do You Take My Insurance?
We accept a number of dental PPOs, and we can give you an outline of the coverage you’ll receive at our dental office if you call our dental office.
